Slow cooked French lentils with mushrooms, merguez chipolatas, a poached egg and herb salsa.
Two very special guest plightees came to check out Jack and Hill the other day. We were surprised by how decently sized the joint was!

Avo and feta smash on thick cut toast with cherry tomatoes, herbs, a poached egg, and bacon too (came just after this). A good avo on toast. The vine ripened tomatoes were delicious!!! The dish was deceivingly big and came with loaderinos of bacon on the side.

Corn fritters with a poached egg, avo, heaps of rocket and tomato relish. Classic. Can't go anyway without ordering fritters. These corn fry ups were maybe arching for a little bit of spice or acidity to cut the sweetness, but still very enjoyable.
Jack and Hill is pretty cute, maybe a bit expensive but what can you expect with its place on Astor Terrace. Check out the blooming jacarandas if you're heading there soon!
